ABC has suspended Jimmy Kimmel Live! indefinitely after Jimmy dared to call out Trump & Co. for their bizarre reaction to the killing of Charlie Kirk. Yes, the same conservatives who screech about “free speech” 24/7 are now high-fiving because a late-night comic got muzzled.
On Monday night, Jimmy didn’t hold back — he said Trump mourned Kirk “like a 4-year-old mourns a goldfish” and slammed FBI chief Kash Patel’s investigation as “a kid who didn’t read the book, BSing his way through an oral report.” The next night, he doubled down, clowning JD Vance’s guest-host performance on Kirk’s podcast and mocking Trump for calling leftists both “sissy pickleball players” and “deadly commandos.” (Pick a lane, Donny!)
Nexstar, which owns a bunch of ABC affiliates, yanked the show faster than you can say “First Amendment,” and FCC Chair Brendan Carr piled on by calling Jimmy’s jokes “truly sick” — as if the guy had just read fan fiction on live TV. Even Trump jumped on Truth Social to congratulate ABC for “finally having the courage to do what had to be done.” Translation: thank you for doing our cancel culture for us.

Let’s be real — if this were a conservative host mocking a liberal tragedy, Fox & friends would be screaming “CENSORSHIP” at full volume. But when it’s Jimmy Kimmel? Crickets. This is textbook hypocrisy, the kind TMZ lives for. Free speech is apparently only free if it’s flattering.
